Spectravideo 328 was used as a model for the MSX standard. SV 728 seems very similar to 328 but 328 did not follow the MSX standard. MSX was specified by several Japanese manufacturers and it made their computers compatible both on hardware and software level.MSX computers have a very strong BASIC-intepreter, the name MSX comes from MicroSoft eXtended BASIC. MSX lost the battle against Commodore 64 because MSX come out far too late.
